Task 4: Reading of the sample, minding pronunciation and intonation. (10 minutes)

Plan and Sample: (20 minutes)

1.    Introduction:

The task for reasoning is as following: there are and have always been illiterate people.

This dilemma cannot be solved throughout the whole history. Even philosophers cannot reach the common verdict on the matter. Should we educate our children compulsory (обязательно) or should children decide for themselves?

2.    Main part:

The brightest examples among philosophers were Plato and Pythagoras, who supported the idea of education for elected (избранные).

They also believed that for some people education might be destructive (разрушительным).

There is a conception that the less you know the happier you are.

Another point of view is to educate everyone on compulsory basis.

The example of such philosophy was Russia after the revolution. The education was obligatory (обязательным) and free (бесплатным) for everyone.

Such policy up-brought (вырастила) lots of well-known scientists.

Although it does not really reflect the correlation (соотношение) between education and happiness, the educated society definitely (определенно) presents the better formation (структуру) and organization;

3.    Conclusion:

To finalise the above stated arguments, it seems logical to support (поддержать) the idea of compulsory education. It is obvious that the educated society has more moral boundaries (барьеры), than illiterate one. People learn not only to read and write, but also to appreciate (ценить) and respect (уважать) others around.
