IELTS writing I INTRODUCTION (done in a form of a lecture):
Analysis of the graph is done in 20 minutes and with 150 words. The language style must be formal; no additional information should be mentioned.
The analysis plan consists of three parts: Introduction (what the graph is about); Main part (data comparison and analysis); Conclusion (main trend of the graph).
Typical life cycle of a frog
-The given diagramme is about the….
- The full cycle includes 8 stages of development.
- The first stage is an egg.
- In two or three days the tadpole hatches.
- On the fourth day the tadpole gets gills.
- On the sixth day it becomes bigger in size.
- After 8 weeks the tadpole grows hind legs.
- So, in 12 weeks it has all four legs but still carries tail.
